About Caroline

Caroline Maruya is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who is trained in numerous techniques. She combines Tradional Chines Medicine and massage to treat a variety of ailments. Caroline received her Master’s degree from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California, and has been practicing Traditional Chines Medicine for over 17 years.

Subsequent to earning her Master’s degree, Caronline has furthered her expertise by successfully completing specialized courses for facial rejuventation acupuncture and attaining certification in massage therapy. She has also received extensive training in orthopedics through a program in which she collagorated with several MDs from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Although Caroline treats a variety of physical and emotional ailments, she holds a special interest in sports injuries, because of her own passion and experience in physical activities.

Caroline takes pride in giving back to the community, and often volunteers her time to treat the elederly, underpriviliged and other special cases.
